Double Vision

SpaceX Falcon Heavy | EchoStar 24/Jupiter-3 SpaceX successfully launched the Hughes Jupiter 3 Mission from Launch pad 39A at Kennedy Spaceforce base at 11:04pm. This is the largest commercial communications satellite ever built, and it's purpose is to relieve broadband capacity constraints in the Americas. This is the virgin flight of core booster B1074 and flight number 3 for each of the side boosters; B1064 & B1065. Both side boosters landed successfully at Landing Zones 2 & 1 respectively. This photo captures the launch and landing of both boosters in a single 469 second shot.

SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 Startlink 5-5

SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket with Core Booster B1067 carrying a batch of 56 satellites for the Starlink Mega-Constellation. This was the 10th successful launch of this booster.

Rideshare includes Lunar Flashlight, NASA's cubesat that will search for water ice at the Moon’s South Pole.

ULA Delta NROL44 - Smoke 2

A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Delta IV Heavy rocket carrying the NROL-44 mission for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) lifted off from Space Launch Complex-37 on Dec. 10 at 8:09 p.m. EST. This was the 41st launch of the Delta IV rocket, the 12th in the Heavy configuration, and ULA’s 30th launch with the NRO.

SpaceX Starlink 4_20

Congratulations to SpaceX for another successful Starlink and rideshare launch! Starlink Group 4-20 and Sherpa-LTC2, a space tug provided by Seattle-based company Spaceflight, launched at 10:09 pm from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

ULA Atlas V - STP3

A United Launch Alliance Atlas V 551 rocket took to the skies from Florida to launch the STP-3 mission for the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command. Liftoff took place at 5:19 a.m. EST (09:04 UTC) Dec. 7, 2021, from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

Outer Limits

The ULA Atlas V 541 rocket carrying the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover for NASA lifted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida on 7/30/2020 at 7:50 am ET. The rocket catapults into the atmosphere as waves crest in the Atlantic Ocean.

ULA Atlas V - Lucy Mission

At 5:34 am on October 16, 2021, ULA launched an Atlas V rocket carrying the Lucy spacecraft. Lucy's mission over the next 12 years is to explore a diverse population of small bodies known as the Jupiter Trojan asteroids.

SpaceX - Inspiration 4

History was made September 15th, 2021 at 8:02pm ET, as the all-civilian crew of Inspiration 4 launched into orbit from pad 39-A at Kennedy Space Center. The four crew members representing the mission pillars of Leadership, Hope, Generosity, and Prosperity are Jared Isaacman, Hayley Arceneaux, Chris Sembroski, and Dr. Sian Proctor.

At 6:01 a.m. EDT on Sunday, March 13, 2021, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying a fresh batch of 60 Starlink internet satellites into low Earth orbit. People all along the East Coast, from Florida up to Maine, saw the rocket's brilliant streak across the sky.
