Cloudy Nights
A late evening storm passed through and brought refreshing breezes, an entertaining offshore lightning show, and spectacular cloud formations. This image is comprised of 4 shots to capture the whole scene.
You can see the bright lights towards Cape Canaveral and Patrick Space Force Base.
On dark nights when there is no moon, I suspect the tiny baby turtles mistake the glow in each direction for mother ocean, as we see tracks for miles heading north & south instead of to the shore.
It always amazes me the light a camera lens captures that you may not see with the naked eye.
